Round-Leaved Bog Orchid
Erect flower stem from 2 large basal leaves. The 2 nearly round leaves are flat on ground, 2–3 in. across, shiny above, silver beneath. Flowers numerous but not crowded on stem, white to greenish; upper sepal short, rounded; side petals spreading, egg-shaped; lower petal linear to 1/2 in. long; spur longer than lower petal, often more than 1 in., curved. Grows in moist meadows, forests, along streams.
