Polemonium viscosum
Flower stem erect from mostly basal leaves. Plant skunky-smelling. Leaf pinnately divided; leaflets 3–5, divided; lobes less than 1/2 in. long. Inflorescence is a tight cluster of blue or white flowers. Flowers with short stalks, rounded lobes 1/3 the length of tube, stamens only slightly extending outward. This alpine plant grows on cliffs, ledges, and rocky places at high elevations.
