Erect leafless flower stem with hanging head, many basal leaves, just shorter than flowering stem. Grass-like leaves remain green through flowering. Flowers in numerous nodding clusters with bracts at base, pink to white, bell-shaped. Grows in moist rocky soils from coast to subalpine.
