Seep-Spring Arnica
Stems erect in large patches, tall blooming stems sticky in upper part. Shorter leafy side shoots. Leaves mostly on stem in 5–12 pairs; lance-shaped, long, narrow, entire, sessile, with lowest pair fused to stem. Flower heads 8–13, with 1/2 in. ray flowers surrounding disk; bell-shaped cup formed by bracts with sharply pointed, long-haired tips. Grows in seeps, wet meadows, high in mountains.
