Erect, with very sticky foliage and inflorescence. Green leaves are wavy along edges, undivided below, divided into 3 lobes on upper section of plant. Inflorescence most often red-orange but can be yellowish. Flower hood extends well beyond bracts. Grows in sagebrush, open conifer woods.
