Oregon Bleeding Heart

Spreading and upright stems and leaves from large, reddish, fleshy roots. Plant is bluish or tinted reddish with bluish waxy powder on both sides. Leaves 8–20 in. long with long petioles, divided into odd number of oblong segments. Inflorescence on long stalk, cluster of nodding flowers just above the foliage. Flowers cream with rose inner petal tips. Grows in sunny to shaded rocky places, usually on serpentine.
