Rosy Owl's Clover

Erect, tinted purple, with minute glands. Stems slender, with linear leaves. Lower leaves entire, upper divided into 3 lobes. Inflorescence finely haired, 1–8 in. long, includes 3-lobed bracts that merge into upper leaves. Flowers sac-like, rose or rarely white, protruding beyond bracts and showing the hooked, downward-pointing peak. Grows in moist meadows at low to high elevations.
