Fine-Tooth Penstemon
Upright, 1 or few hairless stems. Leaves oval, fine-toothed or entire, upper clasping stem, basal with short petioles. Inflorescence consists of few to 10 clusters of flowers on branching stalks near stem top. Flowers with deep blue outer lobes, purple throat sometimes white inside, staminode with golden-yellow hairs. Grows in rocky soils at low to mid elevations.
