Mountain Meadow Cinquefoil
Tuft of greenish to grayish leaves with ascending flower stems. Stems clustered, hairy above, hairless at base. Basal leaves palmately divided to 3–5(–7) lobes, toothed on outer end, central leaflet 1/2–1 1/2 in. long. Flowers to 20 with yellow oval petals and 20 stamens. Grows mostly in moist meadows and rocky areas in subalpine and alpine.
