Tansy Ragwort
Stems erect, unbranched, solitary to few, alternate. Lower leaves 8–10 in., deeply pinnately divided; lower leaves falling by bloom time. Flower heads numerous, closely clustered on short stalks, atop stem. Flower head with 13 ray flowers, 1/3 in. central disk. Grows on roadsides, disturbed soils, at low and mid elevations. Originally from Eurasia. Invasive in pastures and fields, very toxic to cattle and horses.
