June 6, 2010White Bluffs, Wahluke Unit Hanford Reach National Monument, Washington
The White Bluffs are chalk-like cliffs on the east side of the Hanford Reach of the Columbia River in south-central Washington. The White Bluffs trail begins near the White Bluffs boat launch, climbs to the cliffs, and meanders north to substantial sand dunes.
