Mountain Swamp Onion

Stem erect, equal to or longer than the leaves. Leaves 2, stiff, with deeply grooved midvein, staying green through flowering. Umbel contains 25–35 white flowers, petals with green or pale pink midvein, pollen dark purple to dull yellow. Often found in large stands in swampy to wet places at mid- to high elevations, including Eagle Cap in Wallowa Mountains.
