Brodiaea elegans
Stem erect. Leaves 1–3 from base, withering before bloom time. Flowers lavender-blue to deep purple; petals ascending, with recurved tips; concave to flat staminodes are erect, do not lean inward. Grows in grasslands, on thin soils in meadows, open woodlands, below 7000 ft.
