Scouler's Bluebell
Erect or spreading. Stem slender. Leaves 1/2–2 1/2 in., lance-shaped to round, coarsely toothed; lower leaves with petioles. Flowers on upper stem with curved stalks. Calyx lobes spreading outward, sometimes curling back. Flower widely bell-shaped, pale blue to white, petals reflexed back. Style same color as flower, extended well beyond petals. Grows in shaded woods, edges of streams, at low to mid elevations.
