Drymocallis arguta
Tall, narrow, hairy. Top of plant with gland-tipped hairs. Basal leaves erect, 4–10 in. long, divided into 7–9 hairy, oval, sharp-toothed leaflets; stem leaves few, smaller. Flowers in narrow cluster at top of long stem. Flowers 1/2–3/4 in. across, yellow, cream, or white. Sepals may be longer than petals in some individuals. Grows in dry grass, mountain meadows, at mid to high elevations, including Steens Mountain.
