Eremogone pumicola
Stems upright from branched woody base. Leaves 1–2 in. long, upward-pointing, narrow, bearing straight hairs along edges, blunt-tipped. Flower stems 3–8 in. long, hairless on lower sections, glands near top, with 2–3 pairs of leaves. Open clusters of few to many flowers, each carried on a 1/3–1 in. stalk. Flowers small, white. Grows on granite or pumice sand. Endemic to southern Cascades, found at Crater Lake National Park.
