Iliamna rivularis
Stems erect, branched. Leaves sparsely coated with star-like hairs, 4–8 in. long, maple-like, deeply palmately lobed, 3–7 coarsely toothed rounded segments. Flower clusters in loose arrangement on spike-like raceme. Flowers rose or white, with 5 egg-shaped overlapping petals, each about 1 in. long. Grows in streambanks at mid elevations.
