Silky Beach Pea
Stems prostrate to ascending, angled but not winged. Entire plant gray-hairy. Leaf divided into 4–8 widely oval to almost round leaflets, 1/2–3/4 in. long, opposite, with bristle-like tendril. Leaf-like stipules as large as or larger than leaflets. Dense flower head consists of 4–8 flowers. Flowers bicolored, white and pinkish purple. Grows on coastal sand dunes.
