Celery-Leaf Lovage
Erect, lightly coated with short stiff hairs. Stem branched, leafy. Basal leaves include 4–12 in. petiole, blade oblong to round to 10 in. across, pinnately separated into widely triangular segments, each then divided 2 times; leaflets oval, lobed. Stem leaves same, smaller. Inflorescence stalks 4–14 in., topped by 12–23 clusters of white flowers in rounded umbel. Grows in meadows, shady woods, below 5000 ft.
