Lloydia serotina
Short ascending plant with more or less upward-facing flowers. Leaves grass-like from base and alternating on stem, somewhat fleshy. Flowers single or few atop stems, open cups about 3/4 in. wide, white with rose to purple or green pencil markings. Grows among grasses and sedges in wet meadows and rock ledges in subalpine and alpine areas. Circumboreal.
