Lomatium grayi

Gray's Desert Parsley

Tuft of upright to spreading stems in cluster. Plant gives off strong, unpleasant odor. Leaf smooth to slightly rough, divided pinnately into several hundred crowded, narrow, fleshy segments held in different planes that give an illusion of thickness. Inflorescence is a flat umbel held on leafless stems above foliage. Flowers bight yellow, clustered in small tight groups.
