Martindale's Desert Parsley
Prostrate from thick protruding root 4–14 in. wide. Leaves primarily basal, shiny green to blue-green, pinnately divided. Leaflets crowded, oblong, toothed, round-tipped; few along stem similar. Umbels of small flowers, white, cream, or purplish, occur in stalked bundles. Grows in dry meadows, conifer forests, coastal bluffs, alpine rocky outcrops.
