Myosotis laxa
Upright or prostrate. Stems weak and often curved, may be branched, with straight stiff hairs. Leaves alternate. Basal leaves egg-shaped; stem leaves oval or lance-shaped. Inflorescence consists of numerous flowers in coil that extends as plant matures. Flowers on short stalks, very small, only slightly exceeding the calyx, with few straight hairs, tubes with 5 flat lobes. Grows in moist open places, shallow fresh water, from sea level to mid elevations. Circumboreal.
