Few-Flowered Bog Orchid

Platanthera sparsiflora
Erect stem with green flowers. Leaves sparsely spaced, especially on lower stem. Leaves 1–4 in. long, linear. Inflorescence consists of a 1/2–1 1/2 in. long spike. Flower with lower petal and spur about same length, spur curved with pointed tip. Grows along streams, in wet meadows, forests, at low to subalpine elevations.
