Erect stems. Leaf petioles short, blades almost round, opposite. Inflorescence is round head of flowers at stem top. Flower tubes with 5 lobes about equal in size, white, occasionally pale pink; color uniform, without spotting; spur thick, blunt. Grows in seasonally wet areas, open to partly shaded, at low to high elevations.
