Rhododendron columbianum
Erect evergreen shrub with smooth bark, fine hairs on new growth. Leaves 1/2–2 in. long, leathery, oblong, occasionally with rolled entire edges, hanging down when mature; underside white with dense hairs. Flowers cream to white, 5 spreading petals, 8–10 stamens slightly longer than petals. Common in bogs.
