Sabulina macra
Stems slender, erect, with few branches above, glandular. Leaves lance-shaped to oval to 1/2 in. long; upper leaves smaller. Flowers at tips of branches; 5 sepals lance-shaped, with pointed tips, each containing 3 noticeable veins; 5 oblong petals same length or longer than sepals. Grows in dry soils, open grassy areas, coastal bluffs.
