Senecio crassulus
Several erect stems on hairless plant. Leaves thick, succulent, toothed. Lower leaves 2–5 in. long, oval, with petioles; upper stem leaves clasping stem. Inflorescence branched, with few to several stalks, yellow flower heads. Flower heads hold 8 ray flowers surrounding 1/4–1/2 in. center of disk flowers. Grows in moist meadows, open forests, rocky places, in subalpine and alpine.
