Shasta Clover
Upright hairless perennial with slender stems. Leaves are on stalks 1/3–2 in., divided palmately; 3 leaflets oval to egg-shaped, with sharp tips, saw-toothed. Flower heads dense, 1/3–1 in. across, with projecting stem forked at top. Flowers downward-pointing, white, with rose to purple tips. Found in moist soils in rocky places, including forests, to subalpine.
